Our Story

Mothers Recharge was created from a simple belief: mothers need care too.

As mothers, we spend so much of our time caring for others that our own wellbeing can quickly become an afterthought. Rest is often treated as something we earn once everything else has been done, but in reality, that moment rarely comes.

The idea for Mothers Recharge grew from my own experience of motherhood. Like many mothers, I found myself struggling to find time that felt truly my own.

When my little one started nursery and I found myself with a small amount of time back, I discovered community sauna. What drew me in wasn't simply the heat or the cold water. It was the opportunity to pause. To be uninterrupted. To spend time in a space where there was no expectation of me beyond simply being there.

I found myself leaving feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected to myself. Just as importantly, I discovered the power of community — people gathering together, slowing down, and making space for genuine connection.

It made me wonder: what would it look like if more mothers had access to something similar?

In 2025, Mothers Recharge was born.

What started as a small gathering in South London has grown into a thriving community of mothers coming together each week to rest, reconnect, and support one another through sauna, cold water therapy, and conversation.

Today, Mothers Recharge is growing into new neighbourhoods across London, bringing the same sense of community, care, and restoration to more mothers closer to home.

While every Mothers Recharge community may look slightly different, the intention remains the same: creating intentional space for mothers to pause, reconnect, and feel like themselves again.

What We Believe

  • Mothers deserve care too.

  • Rest should not be a luxury.

  • Community matters.

  • Preventative support matters.

  • Mothers shouldn't have to reach crisis point before receiving support.

Looking Ahead

We believe every mother deserves access to spaces where she can pause, reconnect, and feel supported.

As Mothers Recharge grows, our commitment remains the same: creating communities where mothers feel cared for too.

Founder’s Story

I believe mothers deserve care too.

Through my own experience of motherhood, I became increasingly aware of how much support is centred around the child, while the wellbeing of the mother is often overlooked.

I'm passionate about preventative maternal wellbeing and creating spaces that support mothers before they reach burnout or crisis point. Clinical support is vital, but it can be difficult to access and often arrives once mothers are already struggling. I believe there is enormous value in creating consistent, community-led spaces where mothers can rest, connect, and feel supported.

Mothers Recharge was built around that belief.

What continues to inspire me most is seeing mothers arrive as strangers and leave feeling lighter, more connected, and part of something bigger than themselves.

As Mothers Recharge grows into new communities across London, my commitment remains the same: ensuring more mothers have access to the time, care, connection, and community they deserve.
